NEW ITEM: Trigger Point Cold Roller!

The Game Changer of injury prevention is among us!  Trigger Point's Cold Roller is the most advanced and effective recovery product on the market by targeting only the muscles with cold compression while reducing rolling time with the greatest rate of return.

The Cold Roller is adapted from its Roller product, which looks a little like dumbbell weight with roller blade wheels for ends. The idea is that you roll particular body parts, such as your legs, over the Roller, using your body weight as a tool. This helps massage muscles and release the tension after a workout.

The chilly version goes a step further. It still has a similar shape, and the sturdy polyurethane wheels. But its body is made from stainless steel and contains cooling gel in the center. Put this Roller in the freezer, and it holds a cold temperature for up to two hours while you go through your recovery routine.  Using the Cold Roller emulates the effects of an ice bath, but has more advantages: The Cold Roller helps release tension in muscles, and provides myofacial release, without icing unnecessary areas.

“The problem with an ice bath is that your joints and other areas with poor circulation freeze first, which takes movement out of that area,” said Trigger Point Performance founder and CEO Cassidy Phillips. “The Cold Roller is highly effective, enabling greater range of movement by targeting only the muscles whereby reducing inflammation and lactic acid build-up.”

CW-X Stabilyx 3/4 Tights: New Colors!

Black 3/4 Length with Lime Green Stitch

Black 3/4 Length with Lavender Stitch (frontside & backside)

Many folks here at Fleet Feet have been wearing CW-X for years.  We truly believe it is the best performing tight on the market for use during your runs.  Basically, the tights contain a support web technology that mimics kinesiology taping.  This helps to stabilize major muscle groups in your legs and core, provide compression to reduce fatigue, and improve efficiency by minimizing extraneous tissue movement.

Many runners experience issues in the IT band and knees.   These tights are TIGHT and wrap around the knees perfectly.  When you put them on you definitely feel the compression, too.  And even though they are TIGHT – it feels tight in a good way.   (They also make you look skinnier -think Spanx!- which is always a plus).

Bottom line: they increase stability and balance, provide better shock resistance for the joints, and increase circulation so you can run longer.  They aren’t cheap but they’ll last forever if you treat them right (wash gentle, hang dry) and are regarded as a more permanent option to using kinesiology tape.
